Arlington Storage Units

How do I pay my bill?

Pay by mail: A Armadillo self storage. 5333 S.Collins St. Arlington, Tx. 76018

Please include your storage unit number on your check or money order.

Pay in person: Pay your bill at A Armadillo during office hours; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, Saturday, 10am – 4pm, Sunday, 12pm – 4pm, with cash, check, or credit card.

Pay by telephone: We can take a credit card or debit card number over the phonewith prior authorization on file.

What size units are available?

Units range from 5’x5’ to 20’x50’. Ceiling heights are 8’. Our access doors are 7’ high and from 5’ to 16’ wide depending on the unit.

Do you sell packing and storage supplies?

Yes. We sell boxes, locks, mattress covers, tape, bubble wrap and many other supplies in our onsite store.

Does A-Armadillo provide locks?

We have high quality disc locks for sale. No one else has a key to that lock – just you. If you prefer to provide your own lock, you’re welcome to do so.

Does A-Armadillo have access to my unit?

No. You are the only one with access to your unit.

Do you have climate-controlled units?

Yes. We have units from 5’x5’ to 10’x15’. Ask for pricing details.

What’s a drive-up unit?

Drive-up units are accessed from the outside. Drive up, open your roll-up door and you have convenient access to load or unload.

What’s a roll-up door?

Roll-up doors are like garage doors – they roll up overhead for easy access. They’re usually wider than swing doors, so it’s easy to move things in and out.

Do you offer RV/boat/car/motorcycle parking?

Yes. We have outside parking for larger RV’s. We have covered parking for autos, boats, and motorcycles.

Can I rent month-to-month or do you require a long-term agreement?

Month to month is fine. No long-term agreements are necessary.

What about moving out? Do you need advance notice?

No advance notice is necessary. You can let us know on your move-out day. When you vacate your unit be sure the unit is left unlocked.

When can I access my storage unit?

7 days a week, 6am to 9pm, 365 days a year.

What's the difference between access hours and office hours?

You can use your gate code to access your storage unit during access hours 6am to 9pm, 365 days a year. During office hours, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, Saturday, 10am to 4pm, Sunday, 12pm to 4pm, Linda or Steve are available to assist you in any way.

If I rent a storage unit from you, can my spouse, kids or friend have access, too?

Yes. At the time you rent we’ll ask you to specify in writing who else should have access to your unit.

If I lose my key and/or forget my access code what do I do?

Call for assistance during regular business hours. The number is posted on the keypad at the gate entry. If you lose your lock key we can cut the lock free of charge and you can purchase a replacement from A-Armadillo’s onsite store.

Do I need to insure my things?

This is optional and can be purchased separately – or check your home owners/renters insurance coverage.

What documents do you require?

You will need to provide a valid, government-issued form of identification (e.g., driver’s license, state ID or passport).

Can I rent in person, or on the telephone?

Yes.
